Junior clubs land league titles
LITTLETON'S Under-16s completed a fine Mercian League season with victory in the final game that assured them of the Division Two title.
They won 4-2 at Callowbrook after Andy Cook opened the scoring. Lee Brooks made it 2-0 just before half-time after which Swifts netted twice to make the match all-square.
However, Littleton stepped up a gear and Brooks bagged his second before Martin Tomes wrapped up the points and the championship.
Evesham United Under-14s clinched their divisional crown after ending the season with a win and a defeat.
They overcame Ombersley Terriers 5-2 to clinch the title only to lose 3-2 at Leigh and Bransford where a late winner proved crucial.
The goals against Terriers came courtesy of an Elliott Grady treble, Ivan Masica and Henry Woods with Joel Haycock and Masica netting against the Badgers.
