£6m office development for Evesham

EVESHAM'S Vale Park is set to expand with a £6m development covering almost two acres to begin later this month.

The major scheme has been announced by Business Homes Midlands, a joint venture between Horton's Estate Limited and Business Homes Ltd, which has targeted Evesham for its third large-scale project in the region.

The company plans to create around 32,000 sq ft of buildings for office or industrial use on a 1.9 acre site on Asparagus Way, Vale Park.

Horton's chief executive Rob Byth believes that the location of the Evesham site is ideal and said: "The 95 acre Vale Park is a well established location for office and industrial users and has become a popular regional business destination.

"The catchment area for potential office occupiers runs from Birmingham to Coventry and from Cheltenham to Stratford, and our research suggests significant demand for new and self-contained small office units."
